Budapest, 2024 – Zsófia Bánhegyi, recently crowned CMO of the Year 2024 in Hungary, has earned a prestigious nomination for the European Marketer of the Year 2025 competition
Bánhegyi’s recognition follows her success in Hungary.
Reflecting on her journey, she remarked, "This year, the Marketer of the Year competition is being held for the first time in Hungary, and I’m proud to have made it into the shortlist."
Bánhegyi was committed to approaching the competition process with the utmost professionalism. "I decided to proceed with the professional interview process, which I prepared for and really enjoyed," she added.
In addition to her achievements, Zsófia is a key driving force behind the creation of the Marketing Trendbook through industry collaboration. She pitched the idea to Ferenc Hinora, the president of the Hungarian Marketing Association, in early 2023. With the collaboration of 147 colleagues and just under 10 months, an idea turned into reality which is a significant milestone for the industry.

Bánhegyi’s regional marketing leadership is seen as a distinct advantage, which plays an important role in the judging process of the European Marketer of the Year 2025, organized by the European Marketing Confederation.
