Professor Koelemeijer is Director of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Nyenrode Business University, specialising in retail, consumer buying behaviour, branding, and competition and co-creation in marketing channels.

She graduated summa cum laude from Wageningen University, where she obtained her PhD in 2000. Her research interests include retail formats, consumer buying behaviour, co-creation, distribution channel competition, cooperation, and coordination, organisational decision making, game theory, and market research methodology.

She has published on these and other topics in leading international academic journals such as Marketing Science, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, the Journal of Retailing, the International Journal of Service Industry Management, the International Journal of Logistics Management, the Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, European Advances in Consumer Research, and the European Retail Digest.
