Chris was appointed CEO of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in March 2016.
As CEO of CIM he is implementing an effective strategy and transformation programme to modernise the organisation that was initially founded in 1911. It has a Royal Charter to represent the marketing profession and develop marketing talent and, with nearly 20 years’ experience of the professional body/membership organisation sector, he enjoys making a difference both in the UK and abroad.
Prior to joining this sector Chris acquired a broad spectrum of management experience from roles in the City, the British Army, and the Public Sector, working in the Central Office of Information and being seconded to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
